Jodi Gogos, M.S. CCC-SLP
Background: Jodi Gogos graduated from IPFW with a bachelors degree in Communication Science and Disorders. She went onto complete her Master's Degree at the University of Redlands in southern California with an honor degree in Communication Disorders with focus on the pediatric population.
Jodi has been a certified speech language pathologist with the American Speech and Hearing Association and the Indiana Speech and Hearing Association since 1995.
She has been exposed to children with and without disabilities from a young age since she comes from a family of educators. She has worked with children and infants since 1995 in settings which include clinics, hospitals, schools, and in the home.
Jodi's experiences include many special populations including Down syndrome, Cleft Lip/Palate, Cranio-facial disorders, Autism, Chromosomal disorders, Childhood brain injury, Developmental delay, Developmental apraxia of speech, Premature birth, Infant/child feeding (dysphagia), Hearing impairment, Language delay, Phonological/articulation difficulty, and others. She strongly believes involvement of the family and/or caregivers makes the difference.
Jodi is married to her high school sweetheart and is the proud mother of three wonderful boys. One of her favorite quotes: "When I approach a child, he inspires in me two sentiments; tenderness for what he is, and respect for what he may become". - Louis Pasteur
Julie Carrico, M.A.T. CCC-SLP
Background: Julie Carrico graduated from IU with a Masters degree in Speech Pathology in 1995. She is certified with the American Speech and Hearing Association and the Indiana Speech and Hearing Association.
Julie has also been exposed to children with and without disabilities from an early age since she comes from a family of educators. Julie has worked with children and infants since 1995 in various settings including, clinics, hospitals, schools and in homes.
Julie has experience working with children with the following diagnoses: speech and language delay, developmental delay, premature birth, Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsey, feeding and swallowing issues (Dysphagia), Apraxia, hearing impairment, Spina Bifida, Shaken Infant Syndrome, chromosomal disorders, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, premature birth and others.
Julie is married and is the proud mother of three amazing little girls. She thoroughly enjoys her work as a speech-language pathologist and looks forward to meeting your child and working with your family!
